The Manners Arms is the ideal country hotel wedding venue in Leicestershire. We are licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships in its beautiful conservatory, leading out on to our patio and garden.

Seating up to 50 guests, this is the perfect location in Nottinghamshire or Leicestershire for the smaller, more intimate wedding. A traditional meal in the Red Coats Restaurant will provide the perfect wedding breakfast, whilst the conservatory can be redeployed as the perfect evening venue for entertainment and dancing if required.

Further evening guests can easily be added, using the comfortable Beater’s Bar complete with roaring fire in winter months.

For larger events, a beautiful marquee can be sited adjacent to The Manners Arms Country Hotel, catering for parties up to 100 in number.

Years of experience in organising weddings and events at the nearby Belvoir Castle are reflected in the management of this outpost of the castle, which by design has a feel of being tied to the ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland – most of the furniture was raided from the castle’s towers during the complete refurbishment of 2005.

Exclusive use of the restaurant and conservatory are available, as well as the ten beautifully appointed bedrooms, designed by the inspired Duchess herself.

For those that wish to enjoy the castle as well, provision can be made to have a private tour of the castle the next morning perhaps, or even to mix and match by holding the ceremony in the castle and the reception at The Manners Arms.
